At Back2Back Ministries, we believe that socially conscious businesses can play a key role in providing "care for today and hope for tomorrow" to children in need.
There are many ways in which businesses can partner with us, whether supporting the academic needs of the children we serve, hosting corporate trips to serve at one of our sites, or funding development projects.
Become a Business Advocate
There are numerous ways that you can become a business advocate for Back2Back by sharing your expertise, products, financial capital or business contacts. Here are several examples of ways in which businesses are advocating for Back2Back Ministries:
Family Christian Stores (FCS) began their partnership with Back2Back Ministries out of a sheer desire to serve orphans in Monterrey, Mexico. Over time, FCS has recognized that their desire to be a socially responsible corporation, has also generated other tangible business benefits such as an increase in employee pride and job satisfaction, enhanced vendor relationships and increased customer involvement with their James Fund Foundation which supports Back2Back Ministries.
In 2006, FCS Chief Operating Officer, Cliff Bartow, stated that their company was compelled to take action when they saw the squalor of the teen boy’s facility at Casa Hogar Douglas. “We knew that God wanted us to do something. It smelled of raw sewage, had broken windows, a leaky roof, and the fact that no adult supervisor would live there was convicting.”
The James Fund was able to underwrite the cost of building a new dorm. Through the focus of four mission trips (and that of dozens of other groups) the dorm was built and immediately occupied by the boys.
In addition to Casa de James, the James Fund has funded the building of two of the Hope Education Homes on the Back2Back campus in Monterrey, Mexico.
Quality Printing
Quality Printing, a full-service printing company based in Anderson, Indiana, partners with Back2Back by offering us high-quality printing services at a significant discount, only charging for materials. This partnership has been a tremendous blessing to our ministry, allowing us to expand our communications, such as our ministry magazine and gift catalog.
Ellison Group
The Ellison Group, a world leader in surface coating and finishing solutions, rapid prototyping and tooling. The Ellison Group provides office space for Back2Back Ministries Cincinnati, Ohio staff. The office space also includes tech support for our computer network, conference rooms for staff and ministry meetings as well as knowledgeable business professionals who are willing to share their business expertise with our staff members.
The Ellison Group is also founding supporter of the Back2Back Joshua House Teen Education Program which allows students who have come from the local children's homes to advance to high school and college education programs.
