Casa Hogar Imperio de Amor (Empire of Love) began in the Winter of 2006 and Back2Back began working with them in May 2008.  Lalo (one of the directors) worked in Casa Hogar Douglas (CHD) for about 15 years; CHD got to the point where they could not receive more children. Lalo´s desire of helping more children lead him to leave CHD and start Imperio de Amor with his family. They began with 5 children and within a year they had 59 children. At this home they provide food, housing, clothing, care, Biblical instruction, and education to the children. This particular home works with a government office that sends them chlldren with very difficult backgrounds, and it is amazing to see all the changes in their lives that have come from being at this home. God is doing incredible things.
